Harvest time
The 2019 vintage was characterized by a rainy spring and a hot summer.
We found no major problems with either powdery mildew or mildew.
The burning summer reached high temperatures in August, with peaks of 35-40 ° C.
The difficulties involved were overcome with some small sensible precautions:
grassing and maintenance of the green mass of the vineyards.
This allowed to get a hat of leaves above of the bunches and the same time leave them free and ventilated below them.
This last detail has helped to prevent any problem of grapes quality for hot and humid days.
The point at the end of summer was certainly positive: excellent balance between quantity and quality.
It is harvest time.
First the Dolcetto, followed by the Nascetta and the Barbera, to then arrive at Nebbiolo.
The thermal excursion between night and day will certainly be providential for Nebbiolo.

Our wine tells about Us,
a family that for five generations believe in the history and traditions of its territory.
